Hi, I'm Steph Kimmel.
I’m a designer with fine arts roots, specializing in surface design, illustration, and custom wedding stationery.
I grew up in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania where I spent equal time in the woods identifying plant species and searching flea markets for treasures.
At Tyler School of Art, I graduated valedictorian, earning my BFA. There I studied printmaking and art history, spent a year studying in India, and interned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since then, I’ve taught science, English (ESOL), prototyped a 99 rupee water filtration device, managed a historic house, and sold some very expensive yoga pants.
The common thread running through all of my endeavors is a fearless approach to critical problem solving. I complete each project with creative ingenuity and expert organization.
The essential question I strive to answer through my work is, "How can I best solve a problem and share the solution with others?"
My favorite ways to do this are, of course, visual. I love working with clients to create the perfect stationery, illustration, or anything else they may have in mind. When I’m not making art, I enjoy spending time with my family, running marathons, and drinking craft beer.
